Located just 5 km from the majestic Victoria Falls, Mukuni Big 5 Safaris is conveniently positioned along the route to Chief Mukuni’s Palace. This all-weather road is accessible throughout the year.

We offer unique experiences such as Lion, Cheetah, and Tiger Walks. Established in 2009, Mukuni Big 5 initially focused on Lion and Cheetah walks and interactions, later expanding to include river cruises aboard the Lion King of the Victoria Falls and Ntamba Ntamba. With His Royal Highness Senior Chief Mukuni as one of our Directors, we benefit from a rich cultural heritage. Our reception area provides an unparalleled view of the Mosi oa Tunya, also known as “The Smoke that Thunders,” along the Zambezi River.

Mukuni Big 5 Safaris Limited is a privately-owned enterprise that has been in operation since 2009. Our mission focuses on the conservation, welfare, and livelihoods of vulnerable species such as the African Lion, the endangered African Cheetah, Caracals, and Bengal Tigers. We are at the forefront of breeding initiatives for Cheetahs in Zambia, which is a key component of our Volunteer and Cheetah Conservation Trust.
