We would like to introduce our brand new Ultimate African Volunteer Program conducted at our Mukuni Big 5 Lodge, just 3km from the mighty Victoria Falls.

With very comfortable accommodation in one of our many chalets, meals, internet, TV and lounging area, library, drinks and an endless list of exciting activities to do all under one roof. From daily Lion walks, Cheetah Walks, Elephant walks, Caracal Interaction, our breeding centers for Lions and a first for Zambia, our Cheetah Breeding Program and Cheetah Run Facility.

Volunteers from all walks of life now have a once in a life time opportunity to spend valuable time working with our endangered Cheetahs and Caracals, vulnerable Lions and the amazing African Elephant EVERYDAY!!!

Volunteers participate in all activities, playing a very important role gathering valuable data on the environment and animals such as behavior, character, health and much more. All activities are conducted alongside our trained Professional Guides and Lion Handlers, who will be supervising the volunteers, teaching them about the bush and the animals.

Volunteers will also be contributing their time to assist those less fortunate than us in our Community Program. Volunteers work with the doctors and nurses in the rural clinics treating and assisting patients. Volunteers can also render their time in the Basic School nearby teaching classes and subjects to the students and sports. Their time spend will always be highly appreciated by the students and teachers.

As a conservation company, Mukuni Big 5 along with the Volunteer Program aims to breed and release our animals back into the wild. With the much needed funding from the volunteers, our aims will soon be realized and we can watch with pride as all the hard work comes together!!!!
